Capcom’s program for its online event set for September 15 revealed five games the developer plans to bring to Tokyo Games Show 2022. Street Fighter 6 was confirmed to be receiving a new trailer during the event, showcasing characters coming to the game, alongside a look at the game’s World Tour and Battle Hub modes. Exoprimal will also be making an appearance during Capcom’s show with an update on “characters, Exosuits, dinosaurs, and more.” Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will give players their first look into the expansion’s second free update, set to release in Autumn 2022.

The presentation will also feature two new entries into some of Capcom’s most iconic franchises. Capcom’s presentation will feature a segment covering Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, detailing some of the new content for the re-release set to launch in October. Capcom and Sony revealed recently that the PS VR2 version of Resident Evil Village will be playable at the event. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will also be included within the broadcast, showcasing additional features coming to the Battle Network compilation.

The announcement of Capcom’s online program for the 2022 presentation also came alongside some special news for Street Fighter 6. Alongside Capcom’s full presentation, Street Fighter 6 will also be receiving a separate focused “Special Program” broadcast later on during the conference. The event is scheduled to take place on September 16th at 8:00 AM PDT with Producer Shuhei Matsumoto, Director Takayuki Nakayama, and Art Director Kaname Fujioka appearing. The program will feature a real-time gameplay demo, as well as an in-depth look at Street Fighter 6’s visuals.

Capcom’s Tokyo Games Show presentation will be part of a major return to normalcy for the annual convention. Tokyo Games Show confirmed earlier this year that the 2022 event would be the first physical Tokyo Games Show since 2019, with 2020 and 2021 being entirely and mostly virtual due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference is set to include a variety of big name developers like Konami, Kojima Productions, and Square-Enix among others. With the tagline of “Nothing Stops Gaming”, Tokyo Games Show 2022 will look to see a strong convention to close out the summer.
