Kaleido Joins the Canva Family Graphic design platform Canva has acquired Kaleido, the makers of popular background removal tools remove.bg and Unscreen. Kaleido claims that last year, over 100 million people from more than 180 countries used the two tools. We do not know the exact price and terms of the acquisition, but TechCrunch writes that the deal may have been sealed with nearly nine figures. “With our deeply aligned missions, overlapping roadmap and synergies across every aspect of the company, it was easy to see the incredible potential and opportunity in joining the Canva family,” writes Kaleido press contact Bernhard Holzer....

This information comes by way of a press release from Capcom, with the Japanese publisher and developer declaring that in addition to releasing “major” games like Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite each year, it will also bring back franchises that have been inoperative. Although Capcom didn’t mention any specific titles when it comes to achieving this feat, the company did state that the revivals will be for properties that have not had a new release in recent history....
